I am so excited to photograph this beautiful couple’s big day later in September. They had a very classic look for their engagement photos that was just sweet and beautiful.

I love my job! I think its the sweetest thing to see a baby grow. I am lucky enough to photograph Hannah every 6 months.

This particular engagement shoot was a lot of fun because they wanted to have a stylized shoot just because, after all, its not every day you get to re-create a certain style.
Cassie loved the idea of Pin-up, since they had the old RED car and she got an amazing dress, it was easy to just go with it and have fun.
We did these photos at Folsom Lake, I particularly loved the dry fields and the contrast that it created against the car and their outfits.
I also loved that they just didn’t want to do the pin up style, but they also wanted to incorporate their everyday casual look that is more them. Great idea to combine both!

This beautiful wedding took place in Monte Verde Inn in Auburn, Ca.
I particularly loved the color combination that this couple picked, a deep, darker blue and coral. It just looked amazing! Here are some images of the great day.
Beautiful Wedding at Catta Verdera Country Club. Had such a great time with this amazing couple, fun and so easy going.
Purple purple purple!! Tiz the season for PURPLE!! I’ve seen it a lot this season and it looks amazing! The contrast against the white or ivory dress is always so beautiful.

This sweet couple picked this beautiful location in Lincoln for their engagement photos.
I enjoyed every minute of it, the drive there, the incredible views as well as of course Jennifer and Kyle and their sweet yellow lab.
If your lovely dog is a big part of your life and family, don’t be afraid to bringing them along to your engagement shoot, just make sure you bring someone to help hang out with your OTHER best friend 😉 while we do some photos of the two of you alone. Dogs are always fun and unpredictable, which is why I love love love dogs!!
Had such a blast photographing this amazing couple around downtown Sacramento. I love when engagement sessions are easy going! They made my job so much fun and easy!
We mixed it up a bit. We started with a more formal look around Capitol Park and when it was time to play, the tops were changed to a more casual look. Easy to do even for girls. Just wear a tank top under any top and you can change it easy, you don’t even need to go searching for a bathroom or a place to change. Easy and you get different looks.
The other nice thing about engagement sessions is that it really brings out the personality in each couple and I get to know them a little bit more and they get to know me! It’s also good to get to know your photographer, after all, you’ll be spending most of your day with that person.
Wow! 18! All grown up. Meet my beautiful niece, Claudia! She’s off to San Francisco to college. So proud of her!
We did this shoot in Old Sacramento. The nice thing about shooting in Old Sacramento, is the array of backgrounds it offers and no matter what time a day, there’s always shady areas with nice light. Thank you Claudia for allowing me to take your photos! 🙂
